Watched Mansfield Park today! (: It was super nice and had like 2 hot guys starring in it! (: The haolianner footballer from GOAL! (where coincidentally, Zidane also made a guest appearance) and this other guy!
Well the story is based on Jane Austen's book which also has the same title. We watched it as part of the Woman's Voice option. This time, I enjoyed the movie and it was quite humourous too.
The story is about this young lady in her 20s, Fanny Price, who was sent away from home when she was young to live with the Bertrams in Mansfield Park as a helper. Maria and Julia Bertram are block-headed twerps and Edmund Bertram is so super shuai and nice! As Fanny grows up she grows to love Edmund. But doesn't tell him of course.
Then one day family friends Mary and Henry Crawford come to stay in Mansfield. Henry is also shuai as well! :D Then then then he is very flirty. And flirts with Maria who is quite argleee. o.- Then later he changes his mind and woos Fanny, 'cause Maria gets married to this argleee fat-so called Mr
But then Fanny knows he's this bigass flirt and so she rejects him! Anyway she likes Edmund. But then but then Edmund has taken an interest in Mary Crawford!!! Who appeared a bit lesbian at first but turned out to be normal later o.o
Because she rejected Henry, the man of the house (forgot his name) gets so pissed and Fanny decides to go back to her hometown, Portsmouth. THEN Henry was so cute lah, he came all the way to her hometown to chase her! And he did a lot of crazy things just to please her. (GOOOOD MORNINGGGGGGG)
But then Fanny still rejects him and he becomes really super pissed and goes back to Mansfield. And shortly after, Edmund comes back 'cause his brother, Tom (who happens to remind me of LOGAN ooooh) is really sick and needs a helper. So Fanny goes back!
Then one night Fanny hears some loud noises outisde her room and thinks it's Tom coughing. So she goes outside and LO AND BEHOLD; Maria and Henry are like
So Fanny is really super disgusted and proves to the man of the house (still can't remember his name) that Henry is indeed some stupid flirt lor. Yuckss. Soon after the news leaks out into the papers.
Then the family gathers for this meeting in the living room and then discuss what to do with Maria 'cause Rushworth left her or something along those lines. Then Mary Crawford, being her clever self, suggested that they use Tom's money after he dies to organize some party so that Maria can be re-introduced into society again. But the thing is, TOM ISN'T EVEN DEAD YET.
So Edmund is super disgusted and shocked and tells Mary off in this really cool way. I also felt like slapping her lah. LOGANNN ): Anyway, Maria was like sent away to live with someone else lah. And the Crawfords left too! And they got married to some other people. Being their amoral selves, their spouses were also the same type lah. Flirt and all. But who cares! Haha that scene was really funny; their spouses were seated side-by-side at a table, while the Crawfords stood beside their respective spouses. Then the non-Crawfords looked at each other and started giggling. O.O! screwed up man.
THENN some time later, maybe months, Edmund declares his love for Fanny! And apologizes for his blindness in liking the stupid Mary Crawford. Yesyes(:
AND THE TWO OF THEM LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER THE END. [:
HMM... I'm googling and seriously, Edmund (Jonny Lee Miller) looked WAY better in the movie. and YOUNGER TOO -.- and he is Angelina Jolie's ex-husband !!!
